Carbon Adelaide opened its doors in 2021 when we welcomed new Accounting & Tax Partner David Block to the Carbon network.
David joined Carbon with a long list of experience and a passion to help his clients through relentless business improvement. Always searching for a way to add value to his clients and how to best use accounting, tax planning, growth strategies and data to help grow his clients’ businesses, David is an asset to all business owners.
In 2025, Carbon Adelaide expanded further with the addition of two respected local firms. KPI Business Advisory, led by Bookkeeping & CFO Services Partner Kristen Kubank, joined the Carbon network bringing specialist expertise in bookkeeping and financial strategy. Soon after, Adelaide-based firm Advantage One merged with Carbon, led by Partners Grant Hodgins and Don Blackwell. Their team strengthens our in-house accounting, tax, business advisory and wealth management offering, allowing us to deliver even more connected support to clients across South Australia.

Drawing on experience in education, IT and accounting, Kristen enjoys running, renovating, beach walks with her Cavoodle and quality time with family and friends.

Ryan takes an advice-based approach to mortgage broking, liaising with the respective experts to ensure his clients’ lending strategy compliments their other investments.

Nathan bought into Sterling Accountants in 2006 and then co-founded Carbon with Jamie in 2014. Nathan was the foundation to our accounting team in Perth, and leads our accountants in Osborne Park.
