Johnson Meats Case study
Johnson Meats is a family-owned meat wholesaler well established in Perth. Since opening in 1992, they’ve grown to over 30 staff. Their internal payroll and bookkeeping were proving to be ineffective, as other tasks were prioritised instead.
Johnson Meats wanted to make sure their payroll was always accurate and on time, so they called Carbon. We provided advice and training to their team to ensure proper management of their payroll, including tax and superannuation. By doing this, we removed the cost and management involved with hiring an internal staff member to manage payroll.

Frequently Asked Questions
Payroll can be a complex area, especially for small to medium sized businesses who aren’t familiar with it. We understand payroll is an integral part of your business and needs to be completed with accuracy as it can have a significant impact on your employee’s personal circumstances. We tailor our services to meet your business’ needs whilst ensuring all your compliance needs are met with regards to tax and superannuation.
Payroll can be confusing if it’s not something you specialise in. Choosing to outsource to a team of specialists who process payroll day-in-day-out is a much more efficient option. Outsourcing payroll eliminates the need for an in-house payroll specialist reducing salary and training costs. It also ensures compliance, avoiding potential fines.
