Carbon Group Partners with KPI Business Advisory to Expand Services in South Australia

Carbon is excited to announce our first partnership of 2025 with KPI Business Advisory, a trusted Adelaide-based firm specialising in bookkeeping and advisory services. This collaboration marks a significant milestone as we join forces to deliver innovative financial solutions and empower businesses across South Australia.

Introducing KPI Business Advisory

KPI Business Advisory was founded in 2012 by Director Kristen Kubank, with a mission to empower business owners through smarter financial management. Known for their expertise in bookkeeping and advisory, Kristen and her team have built a reputation for helping businesses achieve their financial goals with real-time insights and actionable strategies. This aligns seamlessly with Carbon’s approach to providing client-centred solutions.

“At KPI Business Advisory, our core mission has always been to empower businesses by maximising efficiencies, analysing real-time financial data and projecting cash flow to support better growth-related decisions. I was excited to discover that Carbon Group shares this vision. With a mutual passion for helping clients achieve their business goals, I believe that by combining our strengths, we can take this mission to the next level.” said Kristen Kubank, Director, KPI Business Advisory.

Expanding Services for South Australian Businesses

This partnership represents an important milestone for Carbon, as the KPI Business Advisory team joins our Adelaide office under the leadership of Accounting & Tax Partner David Block. The integration of KPI’s expertise will significantly enhance Carbon’s Bookkeeping & CFO Services, enabling us to offer a more seamless and comprehensive approach to financial management. Working closely with our Accounting & Tax division, the combined teams will provide strategies tailored to the unique needs of South Australian businesses.

“I’m very excited to welcome the team to Carbon and to begin working with all of KPI Business Advisory’s clients. I believe that together we will be able to lift the bar, which is a great way to start the new year.” said David Block, Accounting & Tax Partner, Carbon Group.

This partnership also signifies Carbon’s growing footprint in South Australia, where we now have four offices: Adelaide, Barossa, Gawler and Parafield. The addition of KPI Business Advisory strengthens our local presence and expands our service offerings to better serve clients in Adelaide and the wider South Australian region.

Building a Stronger Future Together

Carbon’s growth over the past decade has been driven by a commitment to innovation and client success. From our beginnings as a single office in Perth, we have evolved into a national presence, with offices in every major Australian state. Our achievements include being recognised as Firm of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards in 2018 and 2020, and being ranked 29th in the 2024 Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Accounting Firms.

As our first partnership of 2025, this collaboration sets the tone for an exciting year ahead. We are thrilled to begin this new chapter with KPI Business Advisory, leveraging the combined strengths of our teams to deliver even greater value to our clients. Whether you’re a South Australian business owner seeking streamlined financial solutions or a like-minded firm interested in exploring partnership opportunities, Carbon is here to help you thrive.
