Our first Queensland office launched in 2019 when Darra-based bookkeeping firm, Thrive Advisors, partnered with Carbon. Led by Bookkeeping & CFO Services Partner Gail Rogerson, our Darra office provided a full suite of bookkeeping services for local businesses in Brisbane.
In 2020, we further expanded our presence in Brisbane by partnering with Charter Partners, an accounting firm based in Milton. Charter Partners had been serving clients in the region since 1932 and had offices in Milton, Bundaberg and Gympie. This partnership brought Accounting & Tax Partner Anthony McPhee on board our Brisbane team. Anthony McPhee, an SMSF Specialist Advisor™ with the SMSF Association, is an accomplished professional with significant experience advising on Self-Managed Super Funds.
At the beginning of 2021, our Darra and Milton offices teamed up and moved into the Milton office. With the full Carbon Brisbane team all based in one central location, we’re poised to increase our reach even further. Later in the year, our team grew when we partnered with Hawley Accounting, bringing on board their talented team and fantastic client base.
Our accounting team in Brisbane continued to grow in May 2022 when we partnered with Coomber & Co, an established firm with a long history of providing exceptional service to their clients. Later that year, we relocated to a state-of-the-art, 6 Green Star office in Fortitude Valley, where we now offer a complete range of business services, including Accounting & Tax, Bookkeeping & CFO Services, Wealth Management, Finance & Lending and Insurance Brokers.
In 2023, we showed no signs of slowing down when we partnered with two local firms. In March, we joined forces with Keeping Numbers, Redcliffe-based bookkeeping firm and in September we welcomed accounting and bookkeeping firm Integrity Wealth. We are thrilled to have both Keeping Numbers and Integrity Wealth teams in our office in Fortitude Valley and to continue providing excellent service to their clients.
