Carbon Warragul launched into the Gippsland region in 2021 when local bookkeeper Deb Vawdrey’s bookkeeping firm, BNR Bookkeeping, joined with Carbon.
Previously Managing Director of BNR Bookkeeping, Deb is now a Carbon Bookkeeping & CFO Services Partner. Deb’s passion lies in helping local businesses grow and succeed, and as part of Carbon Deb is able to elevate her service to the next level.
By working with our Accounting & Tax Partners and other Bookkeeping & CFO Services Partners in Victoria, Deb will be able to help you with any problem or roadblock.

At the heart of Carbon’s values is supporting and giving back to our local community. Bookkeeping & CFO Services partner, Deb Vawdrey who leads our Warragul office, teaches yoga at Vizva Yoga in Drouin and at the Warragul Wellness Centre which is a healing hub in the heart of Warragul. She also teaches a community class at Jindivick Hall.

Igor was born in Croatia, lived in Malaysia for 7 years, and now calls Melbourne home.

After moving from South Africa to Australia when he was 14, Sean graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce and joins our team with over 20 years of experience. Sean is our saving grace and our go-to man for all SMSF related things. Aside from superannuation, Sean is very passionate about music, specifically grunge and brit pop revolutions from the 90’s. His perfect weekend involves a morning bike ride, attempting an escape room (and probably failing) and spending the night in with his family with a giant grazing board of cheese.

Josh Dearle is a CA who joined Carbon in 2020 with a wealth of experience in helping businesses access the R&D tax incentive. Having worked at EY, Grant Thorton, BDO and Deloitte, Josh worked with a variety of businesses and enjoys forming lasting relationships.
Deb Vawdrey

Deb has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years, most of which has been spent running her own business in the bookkeeping space. Not only is Deb a registered BAS Agent, Xero and MYOB partner but she also spent a couple of years teaching Cert IV Financial Services (Bookkeeping). She also teaches yoga, loves local food and wine with friends and family and enjoying the outdoors.

Seeking a better work/life balance, Belinda completed her Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, in July 2020, after having been in the Public Service Industry for 17 years. On the weekends, she can be found baking or camping with her family. Belinda’s favourite place she’s travelled to is Egypt. She finds the history, architecture, and culture fascinating and if it weren’t for her photo evidence, she could easily believe that it was a dream.

Mark joined Carbon in 2020 to head-up our insurance division. With nearly 30 years experience within the Perth Intermediated Insurance sector, Mark has extensive knowledge of both industry and product disciplines which he passes onto his SME and corporate clients.

Janean joins Carbon with over 25 years’ experience in the financial planning industry. After losing her father as a young girl and experiencing the drama that followed because he didn’t have his financial affairs in order, Janean was passionate to ensure other families have their finances in order so they do not suffer in the same way.
Andreas Kettemann

Andreas joined Carbon in 2018 as a director within our wealth division. He specialises in superannuation and retirement planning, including asset protection, cash flow management, SMSFs and investments. Andreas is passionate about ensuring his clients achieve their financial goals and being part of their journey in achieving them.
Ryan Eastman
DIRECTOR
Ryan joined Carbon Finance after working seven years at Westpac in personal banking, business banking and home finance roles. Previously, he worked for Perth’s largest property investment firms as a broker. Originally from Country Victoria, he moved to Perth in 2013. Ryan takes an advice-based approach to mortgage broking, liaising with the respective experts to ensure his clients’ lending strategy compliments their other investments.
Jacob Reed

With a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Cert IV and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking, Jacob was previously a finance broker at a large investment firm before joining the team at Carbon Finance. As a finance broker, Jacob offers advisory based mortgage and finance strategies tailored to clients' individual goals.

Jamie is a CPA with a swag of university degrees and broad experience across chartered and corporate accounting. He co-founded Carbon with Nathan in 2014 and is the foundation of our bookkeeping team. Aside from Carbon, Jamie spends his time as a board member for multiple tech start-ups and believes in giving back to the community.

Nathan bought into Sterling Accountants in 2006 and then co-founded Carbon with Jamie in 2014. Nathan was the foundation to our accounting team in Perth, and leads our accountants in Osborne Park. He finds it extremely rewarding to work with business owners to improve their profitability and watch their companies grow.

Mason joined Carbon as our Group Financial Controller after impressive stints in EY and Wesfarmers. When Mason isn’t busy making us all look good, he enjoys snorkelling and camping outdoors, playing video games, and staring lovingly at his Pokémon card collection.

Hayden joined Carbon in 2018 bringing heaps of experience in accounting and management, working for firms in the UK before returning to Perth. Hayden tried something different (psychology), but the financial services world called him back and he's now very happily here at Carbon. Hayden has travelled the world extensively (you name it, he's probably done it) but has now settled down to the joys of family bliss.

Susanne loves to travel, and twice a year goes to Germany to ski and hike the Alps.

His love for playing with technology and assisting staff has been a common drive in his role at Carbon. Arnie is a Perth local but enjoys venturing to new places by camping and seeing new sites!
