Our proud history
Carbon first launched in Victoria in 2017 after bookkeeping firm BAS Attack partnered with us. Under the leadership of Allison Gardiner, our Bookkeeping & CFO Services division was originally based in Seaford and experienced rapid growth and expansion before relocating to Mount Waverley.
In 2019, Carbon partnered with Melbourne firms Bosker Accounting and Ross Group, opening our first office in the Melbourne CBD. Accounting & Tax Partner Igor Hnatko and the Bosker Accounting team had over 20 years’ experience helping Melbourne businesses grow. Family-owned Ross Group had been providing clients with exceptional accounting and financial planning services to clients for over 30 years.
In 2021, our Accounting & Tax and Bookkeeping & CFO Services teams united in one central location, bringing together two key service offerings for Melbourne business owners. We also partnered with Warragul-based firm, BNR Bookkeeping, expanding our presence to the Gippsland region. BNR Bookkeeping Managing Director, Deb Vawdrey is now leading our Warragul bookkeeping services, helping business owners in the area.
2022 saw us partner with the Shaped Business Services team, expanding our Bookkeeping & CFO Services division in Melbourne.
We kickstarted 2023 by joining forces with Melbourne-based legal bookkeeping firm Legal Practice Management. This new partnership sees our two firms unite, bringing together specialists to elevate the client service offering.
