Our first office in Victoria launched in 2017 after the partnership between local bookkeeping firm BAS Attack and Carbon. Initially based in Seaford, our Bookkeeping & CFO Services division experienced swift expansion and growth before relocating to a new office in the Glen Waverley area. Now, led by Bookkeeping & CFO Services Partners Allison Gardiner and Maree Hornsby, our Monash team is primed to assist clients in Monash and the wider Melbourne area.

In 2019, she transitioned into the accounting and bookkeeping industry. Outside of work, Kara enjoys supporting her daughters in sports, attending live shows and spending time with family.

Ryan joined Carbon after seven years at Westpac in personal banking, business banking and home finance roles. Previously, he worked for Perth’s largest property investment firms as a broker. Ryan takes an advice-based approach to mortgage broking, liaising with the respective experts to ensure his clients’ lending strategy compliments their other investments.

With a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Cert IV and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking, Jacob was previously a finance broker at a large investment firm before joining the team at Carbon Finance. As a finance broker, Jacob offers advisory based mortgage and finance strategies tailored to clients' individual goals.

Nathan bought into Sterling Accountants in 2006 and then co-founded Carbon with Jamie in 2014. Nathan was the foundation to our accounting team in Perth, and leads our accountants in Osborne Park. He finds it extremely rewarding to work with business owners to improve their profitability and watch their companies grow.
