Why did you choose the industry you’re in?
Michelle loves working with business owners to help them achieve their goals. Most people start a business because they are passionate about an idea product or service that they had. The tax and accounting obligations that come with that can, at times, take the focus away from that passion. Michelle loves being the person who helps business owners understand the numbers around their business. She believes it gives clarity and planning opportunities, so her clients can take their business to the next level. By doing that, they can achieve the life and family goals that they have in mind. Michelle loves being a part of the whole scenario.
Business tips from Michelle
You started your business because you were passionate about an idea, product or service that you had. Focus your time money and effort on that. Growing that and achieving what you first set out to do. Don’t monopolize your time with stuff you don’t like or don’t fully understand (whether that’s admin, accounting, bookkeeping or marketing etc). It’s much more efficient and effective to outsource this to people who are skilled, passionate and dedicated to those very things.
