If you’ve stepped into our Osborne Park office recently, you may have noticed a familiar face. Rewind five years ago before Carbon Group existed, our co-founder Nathan Hood was a partner at local accounting firm Sterling Accountants alongside Dominic Papaluca.
It’s our pleasure to be able to announce that Dom and Nathan will be a team once again, with Dom merging his accounting firm Rise Business Solutions into Carbon Group, meaning bigger and better things are on the horizon!
With Dom’s wealth of experience in the accounting industry (spanning an impressive 25 years!) and Carbon’s tech-savvy approach to business, we’re excited that the merger has already had a huge positive impact on our clients and we are looking forward to the ongoing success it will bring.

It’s been grow, grow, grow here at Carbon, with our network of firms ever-increasing across the country. This latest merger with Rise sees a large increase to our accounting division and we’re thrilled at how many small businesses across Perth and regional WA we’re able to assist with accounting services.
We’ll be holding some casual drinks and nibbles at the Carbon office in Osborne Park in the near future to bring our clients together, so keep an eye on our email invitations.
