If you’ve been following our journey over the last few years, you’ll know we’ve grown pretty quickly. In 2016, we opened our first office in Melbourne, then later introduced Allison Gardiner to the team who has grown our presence in Melbourne dramatically! In the last two years, we’ve welcomed a couple more offices in Perth, launched in South Australia, and earlier this year, opened our doors in Sydney, bringing on new partner Wellington Takakura.
If that wasn’t enough, we have even more exciting news to share.
Carbon Group are opening a new office in Brisbane!
We’ve been eyeing up opportunities in Queensland for some time and found the perfect match in collaborating with Rouli van der Linde and her team at Thrive Advisors. Rouli has been running a successful bookkeeping business since 2010, and shares the same values as Carbon. We can’t wait to have Rouli and her team join the Carbon network.
Joining Rouli at Carbon Brisbane is our bookkeeping partner Gail Rogerson. Gail has been part of Carbon for five years. In 2014, we acquired her bookkeeping business whilst Gail focused on other pursuits. In 2017, Gail became a Carbonite once again by coming on board as a partner of our bookkeeping division in Perth. Gail will be relocating to Brisbane as part of our Queensland launch. Gail will continue to work with Carbon Partner Marc Wiriadisastra to ensure minimal disruption for her existing clients and that the service they have come to expect continues to be delivered

“My journey with Carbon over the years has been a bit like a novel and I’m excited to get stuck into the next Chapter! I am truly excited about this next venture, and for those who know me, it is putting me right out of my comfort zone, which is a great thing!
Opportunity always comes from adversity and has been back with Carbon now for two years after selling my business to them a few years prior to that, I continue to be amazed at the incredible vision of the Carbon Group team and the values and culture of the Carbon family. It is certainly keeping me on my toes! Partnering with Thrive Advisors in Brisbane now gives us even more of a national footprint which is exciting, and I know I am going to be learning so much from Rouli and her amazing team at Thrive. From a location point of view, why not move to Brizzy? Having lived on four continents, and now has been in Perth for 30 years, it’s time for me to go and explore the East!”
