Carbon launched the Melbourne branch of our bookkeeping division in July 2016 when we partnered with local bookkeeping firm, Borderless Business Intelligence.
In November 2017, Melbourne-based BAS Attack Bookkeeping also joined forces with Carbon, with owner Allison Gardiner becoming a Bookkeeping & CFO Partner.
In 2018, Carbon partnered with Melbourne bookkeeping business Books in Shape, growing the Carbon Seaford office and enabling us to take on bigger clients, entrenching us as one of the top Accounting and Bookkeeping firms in the state.
With the expansion of our accounting division in 2020, Carbon Seaford offers the full suite of accounting, bookkeeping and advisory services.

Bernadette then completed her Cert IV in bookkeeping and received her BAS registration shortly after. Originally from NZ, Bernadette loves nature, fishing, drawing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

After losing her father as a young girl and experiencing the drama that followed because he didn’t have his financial affairs in order, Janean was passionate to ensure other families have their finances in order so they do not suffer in the same way.

Andreas joined Carbon in 2018 as a director within our wealth division. He specialises in superannuation and retirement planning, including asset protection, cash flow management, SMSFs and investments. Ryan joined Carbon Finance after working seven years at Westpac in personal banking, business banking and home finance roles. Previously, he worked for Perth’s largest property investment firms as a broker. Originally from Country Victoria, he moved to Perth in 2013. Ryan takes an advice-based approach to mortgage broking, liaising with the respective experts to ensure his clients’ lending strategy compliments their other investments.

Nathan bought into Sterling Accountants in 2006 and then co-founded Carbon with Jamie in 2014. Nathan was the foundation to our accounting team in Perth, and leads our accountants in Osborne Park. He finds it extremely rewarding to work with business owners to improve their profitability and watch their companies grow.

Hayden has travelled the world extensively (you name it, he's probably done it) but has now settled down to the joys of family bliss.

She still has the travel bug, and tries to visit two countries each year to get her fix.
