Jason Parish

Bookkeeping & CFO Services Partner

Jason Parish has over 25 years’ experience spanning work in public practice accountancy as an insolvency and a forensic accountant and has worked in businesses and at not-for-profit organisations as an accountant, financial controller and company secretary. Through these roles Jason has worked across different industries including hospitality, telecommunications, manufacturing, technology start-ups, oil and gas, and more recently professional services consultancy. As a result of his experience in these differing roles and sectors, Jason has built a unique capability to service small to medium enterprises (SMEs) across the wide spectrum of services listed above.

Jason graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accountancy. Upon graduating Jason moved to Santa Barbara, California, where he gained valuable experience working in the USA and then upon his returned has built on this in Australia.

Jason joined Carbon Group as a partner within our Bookkeeping & CFO Services division in 2020, after merging his accounting firm Parish Business Services. He was attracted to the way we do things at Carbon Group; challenging the stereotypical image of an accountant. He also resonates our passion for technology as he sees the benefit for both accountants and clients.
